U Suck Play More Pussycat Dolls!

I think this is what this says ==>. (If you can translate it for me then please do so) Anyway there comes a time in every DJ's career where he must have to deal with one grown person who is absolutely bonkers over the newest teenie bopper girl group. This year's flavor is the Pussy Cat Dolls. Before I seem like I am bashing them I want to get out the fact that their tunes are catchy and in the right context almost enjoyable.

Now I had one girl who I am assuming was the Pussy Cat Dolls #1 fan. Right in the middle of my set she asked me for the Pussy Cat Dolls. (Now I have no problem playing requests. In fact I invite them.) I am in the middle of Bossanova's "Stone Cold" which is a phenominal trance song and people are really dancing to it. So I begin my transition from trance to house to PCD. Well this wasn't good enough for this one woman. She wanted it then and now. Well being the nice guy that I am. I played it. Then everyone else looked at me like "What the &#*@!!! Why did you stop trance." So after her song I transitioned it back to trance. Big mistake there...this girl wanted to hear PCD back to back to back. So she decided that she wanted to yell at me because I did not play the "Buttons" song right after "Don't Cha." So I asked her to calm down. Then she exclaimed,"Well G105 does it!" Then it hit me just how bad corporate radio and corporate record labels really mess with people's heads about what a DJ really does. I don't want to go into the history of DJing because that is another tale, but modern DJ's started by delivering new unheard of music to the world. And it's these corporate douchebags that ruin it for everyone. DJ's, bands, singers, and song writers, let's take a look at the history of the PCD's shall we. They were created by Robin Antin who is a big time coreographer. And would you believe it...she's not even in the group. So this is just another group who was formed by a bunch of corporate people based on image. According to Antin, the group is about... "female empowerment, about being confident with who you are. It's about singing and dancing in front of a mirror by yourself and having fun." Hmmm where did that sound familiar?

<==Look Similar?==>

So are the Pussycat Dolls with their mindless everyday lyrics just another girl group offspring? Just look at the pictures and judge for yourself? What's next is Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Avril Levigne, Kelly Clarkson, The Olsen Twins and Clay Aiken going to form a super girl group? Oh wait...Let me call Universal Records right now I think I'm on to something every teenie bopper will love.
